His illustrious career as a surgeon and lecturer has taken him to numerous international destinations, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Istanbul, Hungary, Switzerland, Poland, Russia, Romania, and Austria.
With over 70 publications in prestigious medical journals, Dr. Sheinkop has earned acclaim as a leading authority in orthopaedics and regenerative medicine. Reflecting on his career, he noted, “My success in medicine stems from a strong work ethic, some luck, and seizing opportunities. I chose orthopedics during the Vietnam era due to the high demand for that specialty.”
Dr. Sheinkop also served in the United States Air Force Reserve, holding the ranks of first lieutenant and captain in the Medical Corps. He now resides in Chicago with his wife of 56 years, Sharon.
